Why should you be thrilled?: REC franchise has brought back the REC series original director, Jaume Balaguero of [REC] 1 &2 and star Manuela Velasco back.

What is the story?: A medical researcher, his fiancée and their team have found a way to revive the dead but with dreadful consequences.

Muck
What is the story?: After narrowly escaping an ancient burial ground, agroup of friends emerge from the marsh, tattered and bloody. They take shelter in an empty house only to find that whatever was in the marsh is still after them.
Why should you be thrilled?: It is the first release of the three Muck films. The movie was crowdfunded on Kickstarter and has a dedicated fan base that believe in its potential.

Why should you be thrilled?: The movie is critically acclaimed and has 98% rating on rotten tomatoes presently. They were also praised at numerous small film festivals.

Unfriended
What is the story?: A group of friends receive a mysterious message online from their dead classmate who had committed suicide exactly a year before. Soon they realize that is more than a silly prank.
Why should you be thrilled?: After getting a positive reception at Fantasia Festival, the movie, initially named as Cybernatural was picked up by Universal Pictures for a nationwide release rights as Unfriended. The film is shot entirely on a girl’s computer which is a new intriguing experience.

The Vatican Tapes
What is the story?: The movie is about the exorcism of an ordinary girl done by the Vatican which had gone very awry. Instead of a demon they were up against a very powerful satanic force far worse than their imagination.
Why should you be thrilled?: While the concept is not entirely new, the trailer has convinced us to watch it.

Poltergeist
What is the story?: A remake of the classic 1982 horror movie, the film is about a family who after moving to a new home realize are terrorized by sprits who have taken over their daughter.
Why should you be thrilled?: The remake features special effects and sequences which are even more terrifying that the original. The original by itself was scary.

Insidious Chapter 3
What is the story?: The film is a prequel which sheds light on the gifted psychic Elise who agrees to use her powers to contact the dead to help a teenage girl who is being tormented by a supernatural entity.
Why should you be thrilled?: Apart from Insidious 1 and 2, the director, Leigh Whannell has also produced and written Saw series and Dead Silence. You definitely cant miss this one.

What is the story?: A true crime novelist moves into a new house and discovers a box of mysterious, disturbing home movies that plunge his family into a nightmarish experience of supernatural horror.
Why should you be thrilled?: Since the movie is from the producer of Insidious and Paranormal activity, you are definitely in good hands.
