Water
Drink water, lots of it. Dehydration is the primary reasons for headache and drinking lots of water will reduce the negative effects of dehydration that accompanies a hangover. Juices and sports drinks like Gatorade may help you feel better.
Honey
A great anti-oxidant loaded with sugars is awesome for replenishing the lost energy. Just sip a couple of tablespoons with water or just by itself to enjoy its goodness.
Ginger
Ginger is an excellent digestive support, which helps in getting rid of that nausea by balancing your digestive fluids and calming your system. Sip a cup of ginger tea or ginger juice with water to avail the benefits of this powerful anti-oxidant. Do remember not to consume fresh ginger on an empty stomach. While there is no scientific evidence backing this up, many people swear by it. According to them, a greasy diner food sticks to the stomach and slows the process of alcohol absorption. However, greasy food is going to give you heartburn. To get the calories right in your system, its best to stick to easily digestible carbs like toast or cereal. Coffee
