Who should do this? Anyone with medium to long hair. For those with short hair, hair might come out of the braid and wouldn’t give a polished and finished look to the hairstyle. You can try doing this with a hair spray or gel for a refined look.
One side braids are one of the hottest trends this summer. Celebrities have been spotted sporting this look. So for a change why not experiment with your hair a bit and try this one sided hair braid. They are stylish, cool and easy to do.
Step 1: Detangle the Hair
Before starting off with the braid, use a wide-teethed comb to remove all tangles and knots in your hair. Your hair should be smooth and tangle-free. This would make it easier for you to make the braid. Use a gel in case your hair is wet to hold the braid in place and prevent it from spoiling once your hair dries up.
Step 2: Start Braiding
Grab a section of hair from the right side of your face and start French braiding toward the left. Start with 1-inch wide strands at a time. Pull portions of hair loosely to create a more natural look.
Step 3: Braid across your head
Continue braiding from the right side to the left side of your head. The French braiding should be done till it reaches the left side of your head just above your ear.
Step 4: Braid the rest
Once you reach the left ear continue the braiding across the length of your hair. Now tie a small, clear and at the end.
