Bvlgari has released a new Eau de Toilette for women, Aqva Divina.
Bvlgari Aqva Divina is the first feminine fragrance launched under the famous and enticing Bvlgari Aqva collection. So far the Bvlgari Aqva collection has only been featuring fragrances for male. This new fragrance is inspired by Botticelli’s painting ‘The Birth of Venus’ and is composed by the perfumer Alberto Morillas of Firmenich. The fragrance is announced to be very bright and sensual.
Olfactory family: Floral – Solar – Watery
Top Notes: Salty Bergamot – Pink Ginger
Heart Notes: Magnolia – Sunlit Quince
Base Notes: Beeswax – Nude Amber
Polish model, Magdalena Frackowiak who has also featured in Ralph Lauren, Alessandro Dell’Acqua and Oscar de la Renta campaigns, is the face for Bvlgari Aqva Divina.
The theme of Aqva Divina was to create “Something very bright, very sensual, associated with the feeling of skin on skin. Just like the scent of a woman at the back of her neck.” “Do not be so innocent ”
A solar Eau de Toilette graced with the most sun-kissed wonders of the Mediterranean. “As if nature herself created AQVA DIVINA to cheer on the sea, sun and summer but combined it with rather mysterious nuances, such as precious woods which is reminiscent of Bulgari’s original perfumes.
BVLGARI AQVA DIVINA captures the dazzling freshness of bergamot, the gracefulness of magnolia and the voluptuousness of amber.
The opening notes remind of the salty sea breeze; bergamot, red ginger and salt crystals create an enticing aroma coupled with magnolia and quince for the sensual touch. Amber and beeswax give an intimate and attractive aroma to the perfume.
“This is a woman who could be strolling through Capri, or on a dreamy, sunny beach. She took advantage of her day in the sun and sea and her skin is still golden, and now she’s going to get ready for a simple evening out and she’s going to wear perfume,” Morillas said.
The fragrance comes in a shell or pearl shaped bottle that complements the other pebble shaped bottles of the Aqua Line. The bottle bears a close resemblance to a sea mussel with a nacreous color palette.
The Aqua Divina product range is available in 25ml, 40ml and 60ml Eau de Toilette and also includes a bath and shower gel in the line.
