Chris Hemsworth (well known as Thor from Avengers) was announced as People Magazine’s 2014 Sexiest Man Alive, and now you can check out the magazine’s awesome cover. The Australian actor was announced as the recipient of the annual award on Tuesday’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live. The actor showed himself on Skype on the show and admitted to being flattered by the huge honor. Chris also admitted that he thought this to be ‘pretty funny’ while his wife, Spanish model and actress Else Pataky also found it pretty exciting. Chris also added, “I think you’ve bought me a couple of weeks of bragging rights around the house. I can just say to her, ‘Now remember, this is what the people think, so I don’t need to do the dishes anymore, I don’t need to change nappies. I’m above that. I’ve made it now.'”
Chris Hemsworth has now joined the ranks of past honorees of Sexiest Man Alive like Channing Tatum, Bradley Cooper and Ryan Reynolds. 2014 has been an exciting year for the actor who starred as Thor in Thor 2: The Dark World and is also working on Ron Howard’s In the Heart of the Sea. Earlier in March, Chris and Elsa also welcomed their twin sons, Tristan and Sasha.
