Step 1
Fake eyelashes can be purchased in strips or in individual pieces. Depending on your need, choose the kind that you want. Before putting the lashes on you need to ensure that they aren’t too long for your eyes. So start with curling your eyelashes with a curler and put a mascara on to lengthen them. Now hold your fake lashes alongside your eye and if they are too long, trim them so that each has a different length. The lashes towards the outer corner of your eye should be the longest.
Step 2
Squeeze a small amount of glue on your left hand and using a pair of tweezers, dip the base of the lash strip in the glue with a long stroke. Allow the glue to thicken a bit before applying them to your eyes.
Step 3
Start from the outer edge of your eye and look down to place the lash as close to your eyelash as possible. Push them down rather than adjusting them from the front. The lash should attach at the base of your real eyelash.
Step 4
Once the eyelash is in place, allow the glue to dry naturally. It will take at least 15 minutes for the eyelash to dry.
Step 5
Apply the other lashes working your way to the inner corner of your eye. It is suggested to apply lashes only to the outer corners of the eye and not on the inside for a more realistic look.
Step 6
Apply mascara on your eyes and outline them using eyeliner to cover any gaps between the fake eyelashes. This would give them a more natural look.
Step 7
Fake eyelashes can be removed using an eye makeup remover. Its not recommended to sleep with your fake eyelashes on.
